The Center for Spatial
Data Research and applications (CSDRA) was created as a Geographical Information
System (GIS) and remote sensing (RS) laboratory. CSDRA's initial foci
were to develop GIS/RS technologies at JSU, train students, faculty, and
staff in the operations and applications of GIS/RS and begin preliminary
research.
