Information for Non-Profit Agencies:
How to Become an Approved Community Partner
Non-profit agencies wanting to host student volunteers on a continuous basis, may apply to be listed as one of our approved agencies. You should be aware that JSU cannot send volunteers to your agency until after the application and site visit has been completed. Follow the CSSLC Application for Community Partnership link where you will be prompted for information concerning your agency, the description of the volunteer position(s) you want to fill, and information about the services you provide. When you have filled this information out completely, a member of our staff will contact you to arrange a site visit to your agency. If you have any questions, you may contact the CSSLCmailto:valerie.j.shelby@jsums.edu by phone at (601) 979-6939. Ideally, the most optimum time to apply for approval is during our least busy time between semesters and during the summer months.
