A drop date will be assigned for each course. After the drop date, the assistant provost/registrar may grant a student permission to drop a course under extenuating circumstances, at which time the student will receive a grade of W or F.

A student withdrawing from the University prior to the deadline for dropping classes will not receive any grades. His or her record will show the date of withdrawal only. A student withdrawing after the deadline for dropping courses will receive a grade of W or F.
