Accessing Blackboard

Faculty, Staff, and Traditional Students

All users must have a Network Identifier (NetID) in order to log into Blackboard. The NetID is used with a password to access various JSU systems, such as Blackboard, the open access computer labs, and the online library database. To obtain a NetID, log into JSU PAWS and select Activate/Create NetID to create a NetID. Tutorials to offer assistance are available by selecting the Blackboard tutorial links below. JSU Online Students (Online and Hybrid Courses)


All distance education students are required to visit the JSU Online Web Site for information most important for completing JSU Online courses. If you are completing an online or hybrid course for the first time, select the student tab to obtain getting started information and instruction guides designed especially for online learners. Accessing
Blackboard
