Jackson State University wants to help GROW YOUR BUSINESS by marketing and promoting your
products and services through the JSU Tiger Market Place/PerksCard program, an on-line shopping platform that serves over 50,000 businesses. The university has partnered with PerksConnect to administer this program, which will expose your business to a national customer-base of millions of people.
Here is how the program will work:
- PerksConnect has customized an online marketplace for JSU alumni-owned businesses, whereby those businesses will have access to a very large built-in customer base (Perks has issued more than 5 million memberships since program inception) through the Perks website and mobile app.
- Jackson State University will send instructions on how to access a PerksConnect membership card and download the mobile app to our faculty, staff and students as well as our 30,000+ alumni. We also will promote this program through billboards, television commercials, social media, print media, etc.
- Participating businesses will each pay a minimal marketing fee and agree to offer discounts/coupons through online marketplace.
- To be eligible for discounts at participating locations, customers must present a JSU Tiger Market Place-PerksConnect membership card (which can be downloaded and printed from the PerksConnect-Tiger Market Place website) or download the JSU Tiger Market Place-PerksConnect mobile app.
