CPT Gregory Davis
Captain Davis is from Hughes Springs, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University, where he was a member the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. CPT Davis has a Masters of Business Administration.
He enlisted in the Army in 2002 as a 68K, medical laboratory specialist. His first assignment was at Walter Reed Medical Hospital and then Kitzingen Germany.
CPT Davis’s military education includes Primary Leader’s Development Course, Officer Candidate School, Basic Officer’s Leaders Course, Signal Officer Basic Course, Signal Officer S-6 Course, and Signal Captain Career Course.
CPT Davis joined the 25th Signal Battalion in May 2012 as the Assistant S-3 and assumed Command of the 25th Signal Battalion Headquarters Detachment in December 2012 and just completed his Command in July 2014. His previous assignments include Platoon leader of a Re-Trans/ JNN Platoon for Alpha Company, Division Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division. Executive Officer Alpha Company, Division Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division. Executive Officer for HHC, DSTB, 2nd Infantry Division in Korea. His current assignment is in Jackson , MS, as a ROTC instructor at Jackson State University.
His military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, NATO Defense Service Medal, Afghan Campaign Medal with Combat Star, Korean Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism, National Defense Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon (3-OLC), and the Gold Germany Proficiency Badge.
