SFC Lloyd

Sergeant First Class Steven M Lloyd enlisted in the army in January of 2002. He attended Infantryman OSUT at Ft Benning, Georgia. His has been stationed at Ft Campbell, Kentucky and Ft Lewis (JBLM) Washington where he has served in numerous duty positions including, Javelin gunner, Rifleman, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Weapons Squad Leader, Assistant Operations Sergeant and Infantry Platoon Sergeant. SFC Lloyd has been deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2004, 2005-2006 and Operation Enduring Freedom from 2009-2010, 2012-2013. SFC Lloyd has completed a total of   5 Training rotations at the Joint Readiness Training Center Ft Polk, Louisiana and The National training Center Ft Irwin California. As well as Serving as a Observer/ Controller Augmentee at the National Training Center

SFC Lloyd’s professional military training includes Primary Leadership development course, Advanced leaders Course, Maneuver Senior leader Course, Police transition team, Air Assault, Combat life saver, and Technical Transportation of Hazardous Material.

Sergeant Lloyd’s awards and decorations include  the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, The Army Commendation medal w/Valor, The Army Commendation medal (4 OLC), The Army Achievement Medal, The Army Good Conduct Medal (3rd award), The National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (3 Stars), Iraq Campaign Medal (4 Stars), Global War on terror Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terror Service Medal, NATO Medal, Presidential Unit Citation (Naval), Valorous Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Citation, as well as the Air Assault Badge, Combat Infantrymans Badge  and Expert Infantrymans Badge.
