OFFICE OF CONTRACTUAL SERVICES

Contractual Services is a significant component of the Division of Auxiliary Enterprises and serves as a liaison to internal and external constituents. The Office of Contractual Services ensures compliance of the University contracted venues. Its goal is to research and develop new streams of revenue by offering innovative products and services to students, faculty and staff. To achieve this goal, marketing strategies and the recruitment of new vendors are essential.   

• JSU/Follett Bookstore (1st Floor, New Student Center) offers textbooks, collegiate products, clothing, gifts, music, general reading books, beverages, snacks and more.
  • Hours of Operation:  Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
    
  • Methods of payment are Cash, Check, Traveler’s Cheque, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and the JSU Supercard.
    
    
• Pepsi/Brown Bottling Group is one of JSU major sponsors who offer the convenience of beverages and snacks campus-wide through self-operated vending. Most vending machines accept coins, currency and the JSU Supercard.
  
  
• 95+ JSU Supercard Merchant offers the convenience of quality goods and services to students, faculty and staff.  The JSU Supercard is accepted at various locations throughout the city.
  
  
• 77+ JSU Licensed Vendors are approved vendors who have been granted permission to reproduce JSU registered words and trademarks through the Licensing Program. The Licensing Program was designed to ensure that the visual image and reputation of the University are preserved at all times.
  
  
• ATM Machines (1st Floor, New Student Center) are conveniently located on the east end of the new Student Center for quick cash withdrawals.
  
  
• Caldwell & Gregory, Inc. provides commercial Maytag washers and dryers for all residence halls and the central laundry facility. Students access laundry equipment by swiping their JSU Identification Card. 
  
  
• Graduate Services provides JSU with quality graduation regalia for graduation ceremonies and Founder’s Day celebrations.
  
  
• JSU Special Tags are offered through the State Tax Commission Office and the University receives a portion of the fees from each tag sold. By purchasing a JSU tag, it identifies and distinguishes each motorist as a supporter of the University. 
  
  
• Java & News @ JSU (1st Floor, Library and 2nd Floor, New Student Center) offers a cozy atmosphere in which students, faculty and staff may enjoy many blends of coffee, lattes, sandwiches, etc.

    Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
    Sunday 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm

RETAIL ANNEX SPACE

• Subway (Retail Annex #1) offers freshly made deli sandwiches for dine-in or carry out services to satisfy your cravings.
  • Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 7:00 am to 11:00 pm
    Friday 7:00 am to 12:00 am
    Saturday 10:00 am to 12:00 am
    Sunday 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

• JSU Hair Studio (Retail Annex #2) is a full-service hair salon that offers such services as shampoos, sets, styles, cuts, etc.
  
  • Hours of Operation: Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
    CLOSED on Sunday and Monday.
    
  • Methods of payment are Cash and the JSU Supercard.   
    
    
• JSU Tiger Barber Shop (Retail Annex #3) is a full-service barber shop that offers such services as trendy hair-cuts, trims, styles, etc.
  
  • Hours of Operation: Monday-Saturday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
    CLOSED on Sunday and Wednesday. 
    
  • Method of payment is cash only.     
    
    
• JSU Convenient Store (Retail Annex #4) is a convenient one-stop shop offering all general retail goods and services.
