The Office of Budget is also responsible for:

Analyzing and coordinating quantitative and qualitative data into comprehensive documents thatare required and/or requested by the university community, Mississippi Board of Trustees forInstitutions of Higher Learning, and the State of Mississippi Legislative Budget Office i.e.University bound budget book, Mississippi Budget Request, etc.;
- Developing, monitoring, and controlling the annual operating budget;
- Processing personnel action forms, job requisitions, budget revisions, and departmental transfers; and performing assigned duties that are germane to the operations of this department.
