The mission of Central Receiving is to accurately and efficiently receive, document and deliver all packages and shipments for the entire university in a manner that is professional, courteous and prompt.
CENTRAL FUNCTION
The Receiving Unit is responsible for the verification and inspection of shipments, accuracy of records documentation and the effective and efficient delivery of merchandise throughout the University within established parameters for delivery.
Frequently, a vendor will deliver furniture, equipment or supplies directly to the department. It is imperative that the receiving unit receives notification of all such deliveries. Please check our website to access the Direct Delivery Form and fax to 979-4161
