Biography

Kenneth Y Fiakofi is a Doctoral student in the College of Business Administration at Jackson State University majoring in Economics with a minor in Accounting. His research interest includes International Economics, Monetary Economics, Quantitative Methods, Trade and Development, Applied and Theoretical Economics. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer and Information Sciences with Minor in Mathematics from Alcorn State University.

Prior to joining the Jackson State University College of Business, He worked as a Software Development Analyst at Medical Information Technology – MEDITECH, a Healthcare Information Systems firm based in Massachusetts. He also worked as an Adjunct Instructor where He taught Development Mathematics, Introductory Algebra, College Algebra, Introduction to Statistics in MassBay Community College – wellesley, Massachusetts and Quinsigamond Community College – Worcester, Masschusetts

Kenneth Fiakofi due to His involvement in community development work in the Volta Region of Ghana where hail from, He developed an interest in studying economics at a higher level in order to achieve His long term pursuit for helping under developed communities in the Volta Region as well as the Ghanaian nation to alleviate poverty through rural developmental initiatives. He is anticipating working with the Organizations of the United Nations or other affiliated organizations whose main goal is international development projects that are directed towards improvement of living standards of the under developed nations.
