The Center of Excellence in Minority Health and Health Disparities is located in the School of Health Sciences in the Jackson Medical Mall — Thad Cochran Center, 350 West Woodrow Wilson Ave, Jackson, MS 39213. The Center's focus is on improving and promoting health and the reduction of morbidity and disability associated with specified chronic diseases.
Our work is to analyze, understand and describe health disparities in health and health care, especially those affecting minorities and other historically underserved populations, thereby helping to eliminate disparities.
