6. Do I have to be formally admitted to the University to take classes or professional development activities through the College of Lifelong Learning ?

Not necessarily.  For academic credit classes, you may complete a Pre-Admission Application that allows you to take up to 12 semester hours within 2 semesters as a non-degree seeking student.  Graduate students must be admitted by mid-term of the semester enrolled.  Completing the Pre-Admission Application, however, does NOT guarantee you admission to the University.  Admittance into a professional development activity requires that you complete a registration form and a Pre-Admission Application.
