Internships for JSU Civil Engineering
Students

1.
On-Campus Internship. Work approximately 20 hrs/week during summer
and next academic year. Must be a Civil Engineering major. Prefer
Junior standing in Fall 2003. Submit your resume including GPA

Federal Highway Administration
Must be U.S. citizen, GPA =3.0 or above. Must be junior or senior
in Fall 2003. The period of employment is from June 2 to August
8, 2003. The selection is based on 1) GPA or class standing; 2)
reference from a professor and the endorsement of the Department
Chairperson; 3) essay on your transportation interest; 4) areas
of interest outside school; and 5) completeness of application
package. The deadline is February 28, 2003. Submit: a. a completed
application form; b. a copy of transcript; c. a reference from
a professor and the endorsement of the department chairperson;
d. essay on transportation interest; e. a biographical sketch;
f. areas of interest with no more than three preferred geographical
