The Center for Defense
Integrated Data (CDID), located at JSU’s e-Center, was
established in 2004 as the decision-support research arm
for the University’s School of Engineering. The Center’s
mission is to provide comprehensive research and
development in the fields of data fusion, intelligent
decision support and risk assessment. Such work has been
applied to homeland security, emergency management,
transportation risk assessment and disaster response.
CDID conducts advanced research in engineering and
computer science and is composed of partners from
Jackson State University, The University of Mississippi,
The University of Southern Mississippi, and Radiance
Technologies, Inc.
