Manufacturing and Design Technology

The course work for this degree requires the completion of a
minimum of 132 hours of general studies and core courses.  The
objective for this emphasis is designed to expose students to
fundamentals of manufacturing, properties of materials, mechanical
methods of materials removal, electric methods of material,
chemical methods of material removal, thermal and other methods
of materials removal, mechanical and other methods of  change of
form, material joining, mechanical surface finishing processes, and
manfacturing with plastics and composites.
