Department of Technology. We are committed to providing the facilities,
instruction, services and equipment necessary for our students to achieve
their educational goals.
The Department of
Technology Offers the Baccalaureate of Science (BS) in Industrial Technology
with emphasis in one of four clusters:
Electronics
/ Airway Systems Technology
Manufacturing & Design Technology
Microcomputer
Technology /
Technology Management
The objectives of
the Department of Technology are:
· To provide training in basic skills which enrich the students’
understanding of materials, processes, and products of industry as they
affect human relationships.
· To develop
sufficient depth in the four clusters of industrial technology, thus providing
the competencies necessary for success as a manager.
· To develop
an understanding of human behavior as it relates to education in general
and industrial technology in particular.
· To develop
technologists whose personal and social qualities enable them to fit into
the community and exercise positions of leadership.
· To establish
values related to how industry and technology alter our environment.
