Mission

Provide and maintain a campus environment conducive to teaching, living and learning. In order to support the mission of Jackson State University, the following goals have been established.

Goals

• 90% of the JSU Community says FCM meets or exceeds their expectations in regards to timeliness of response, quality of work and effective communication.
• 90% of the JSU Community says access to FCM services is easy and seamless.
• 95% of all other University service providers (e.g. campus police) view FCM as a strategic partner who is inclusive and communicative.
• 95% of our employees understand their roles within FCM and are provided training, tools and technologies to perform their jobs.
• 95% of our employees agree communication in FCM is clear, concise and timely and they have ample opportunities to provide feedback.
• 95% of our employees say they work in a trusting, respectful and caring environment, where openness, adaptability and fairness are perpetuated.
• Reduce operational costs
• Explore, identify, and implement best practices and processes which will result in reduced cost, improved quality, and increased productivity.

• Maintain buildings in a clean and workable environment;

• Provide and maintain transportation for the University;
