The
Preventive Maintenance Unit is responsible for the routine cleaning,
adjustments, lubrication, minor repairs, parts replacement, performance
testing and analysis of building systems including general lamp
replacement in all buildings. The team has specific tasks that
must be performed each month. All buildings will be serviced on
scheduled frequencies in accordance with written maintenance instructions.
The campus is divided into four areas composed of eight to eleven
buildings. A 13 week preventive maintenance (tri-semester) schedule
is utilized. Each area will be checked three times a year. Preventive
maintenance services will be performed daily.
