Gallery1 is committed to introducing and incorporating Art through a multi-discipinary approach by hosting exhibitions and programs.

We provided the following Summer Art Camps. 

Art in Action Camp

Art In Action/2nd-6th grade Art Camp: A mixed medium camp where students will create in a fun and educational environment.  There will be a final exhibition at the end of the camp to display students' work.  Artwork will be on display for a month.

Say it Isn't So…. I will Learn how to sew/7th-12th Art Camp: Students will learn how to sew, market, and sell their product they make online.

There will be a final exhibition for parents/guardians.                                                                                                  






We also provide Art lessons to organizations such as JSU's Kids Kollege, Upward Bound, and TAMAR Counseling.

is an acronym used to incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. In  this section you can find updates regarding STEAM related exhibitions and programs.

On April 16, 2016, Gallery1 teamed up with Jack and Jill and provided a STEAM/Visual Arts/Business workshop for the 2016 Children's Super cluster in Jackson, MS in the College of Business on the campus of Jackson State University. JSU Biology students assisted in the instruction. Gallery1 and JSU Biology students instructed over 60 students from across the country for thei Annual Jack and Jill Conference.



Visits are free for schools and groups, please call for an appointment.
