Abstract Art and Pop Art Exhibition

Pop Art and Abstract Art Exhibition: A Collaboration and Sisterhood Celebration

June 6 – June 29

Who: AEHelsel Media,Susan McGee and other Artists

Amber Helsel, you could call her an accidental artist. She isn't trained in painting or drawing and has no patience to learn, but she does have photography skills, graphic arts skills,  and imagination and a great sense of whimsy. She is inspired by Pop Art, specifically Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. If you like what you see and want more, visit or check her out on Facebook at

Susan L. McGee is the creator of Funky Muse. A muse, in history' was someone who inspired great works of art. The Funky Muse hails from Paris; Susan is from Jackson Mississippi. Both love art, but that is where the similarity ends. Whereas the Funky Muse is fond of lying on a beach and sipping pina coladas, Susan works hard teaching English as a second language at Jackson State University. However, when they come together they create wonderful works of art. Art which we hope you will enjoy.
