Jackson State University’s Public Health Program Receives 7 years Reaffirmation of Accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)
Jackson State University, School of Health Sciences received reaffirmation of accreditation for its Public Health Program. The Public Health Program (MPH and DrPH) was re-accredited for a seven (7) year term extending to July 1, 2021. Seven years is the maximum period a program can be accredited. Dr. Russell Bennett, the Interim Associate Dean stated that “he would like to sincerely CONGRATULATE and THANK the Public Health Program faculty, staff and students for their outstanding work with getting the Public Health Program re-accredited”.
There will be a reception in the Fall 2014 semester to celebrate this milestone in the history of the Public Health program. This event will be hosted by the College of Public Service Dean’s Office. A save-the-date announcement is forth coming.
