How Do I Find What I Need?
The following help page is designed to show our visitors how to access the different types of information available on the JSU Website. Several features have been added to aid in the ease of surfing our site, such as a detailed sitemap, categorization of pages, webmail login, etc... Now we will give an overview of how to find what you need.
Familiar Menu:
If you've used the JSU site in the past, you will notice the top menu is available, and for the most part unchanged. Here, you have access to Academics, Administrative areas, JSU P.A.W.S. (Personal Access to Web Services), etc...
Search:
You may use the search feature to locate what you are looking by entering a search term and clicking Search.
Site Index:
You may click an alphabet on the site map to access links to all sites beginning with that letter.
Resources for:
The "Resources for" section provides detailed information tailored to the category of visitor. These links act as "one-stop shops" for prospective students, current students, parents and families, faculty and staff, and alumni. At any point, if you feel you did not find what you were looking for, send us a comment and we will work to make the resource available.
Inside JSU:
The "Inside JSU" section will contain links to different areas of the campus, as well as special functions that may be taking place on campus.
Webmail Login:
Select your webmail login based on whether you are faculty/staff or student. Making a selection and clicking Go to Login will take you to the appropriate sign-in page for your webmail.
Featured tab:
The Featured tab provides current news and pictures. Click the feature links to view the full stories.
Multimedia tab:
The Multimedia tab provides an outlet for audio/video promotion of JSU. Once you click the Multimedia tab, you will receive either a playlist, or the video will automatically play, depending on the broadcast settings. If you receive a playlist, click on the media of your choosing to view. If the video is playing, you may click the small arrow in the bottom right corner of the media player to access the playlist.
Campus News tab:
The Campus News tab provides a draggable scroll of events and news articles.
Quicklinks:
The Quicklinks drop-down box exists to facilitate one-click access to many areas on campus.
WJSU Online:
Listen to an online feed of JSU's radio station.
Comments:
Click Comments at the bottom of the page to send comments to the following areas: Recruitment, Admissions, Registrar, Athletic Media Relations, and Web Services. Any comments sent via this form will be forwarded to the appropriate campus unit for processing.
