History/Philosophy & Relgion Concentration Requirements
History Concentration Requirements

The Department of History and Philosophy requires at least 21 hours of History for a History concentration.  These courses must include HIST 202, 3 hours of European History, HIST 344 and 4 additional classes at the 300 and 400 level.

Philosophy and Religion Concentration Requirements

Within the Department of History and Philosophy, a concentration in Philosophy and Religion is offered to assist students in honing their interpretive, conceptual, reflective, and analytical skills and convictions.  Requirements for the concentration include PHIL 301 - Introduction to Philosophy - and five additional courses in Philosophy and Religion chosen by the student in consultationwith an advisor from this area.
