  Dr. Chuanzhong Yin

Untitled1Dr.Chuanzhong Yin is a visiting Professor at IMTrans. He is an Associate Professor in the College of Traffic & Transportation at Shanghai Maritime University in China. His research focuses on planning & optimizaiton of port logistics, intermodal operations, and transportation and logistics information systems.

  Weike Lu

UntitledWeike Lu is a visiting student at IMTrans. He is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Transportation and Logistics, Southwest Jiaotong University, China. He received his bachelor degree in Traffic Enginerring from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2014. His research interest is traffic management and control. Weike is working for IMTrans project "Approach for the Measurement of Network Vulnerability for Hurricane Evacuation of Mississippi Coastal Region".

   Dr. Lei Bu

Dr. Lei Bu
 

Dr. Lei Bu is currently a Ph.D. Student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Jackson State University. She completed her undergraduate studies in Railroad Transportation at the Lanzhou Jiaotong University, China, in 1994. She received her Doctorate in Transportation Engineering from the Southwest Jiaotong University in 2004. She had worked from 2004 to 2013 in the School of Transportation Engineering at Tongji University, China and visited the OTB Research Institute for the Built Environment from 2009 to 2010 at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. Dr. Lei Bu had worked at IMTrans from 2011 to 2013 as a postdoctoral researcher and now works at IMTrans as a graduate research assistant. Her research has focused on multimodal transportation system planning and operation, large-scale emergency evacuation and travel data analysis. She serves the transportation community by reviewing technical papers and participating in TRB committees. She is the TRB member of Travel Time, Speed, and Reliability Subcommittee [ABJ30(3)]. She worked for IMTrans project " Simulation Study of Emergency Evacuation of Greater Jackson due to Hazardous Material Incident"and "Development of a Large-Scale Traffic Simulation Model for Hurricane Evacuation of Mississippi Coastal Region". Lei is currently working for IMTrans project "Approach for the Measurement of Network Vulnerability for Hurricane Evacuation of Mississippi Coastal Region".

  Yuxiao Zhou

Yuxiao Zhou
 

Yuxiao Zhou is a graduate research assistant in IMTrans, where she conducts her research work including report writing, algorithm development and data collection. She graduated from Shandong University, with master degree in Architecture in 2011.  Her research interests include image processing and machine learning. Yuxiao is currently working for "tate-of-Practice Approaches and Technologies for Inventory Data Collection of Mississippi’s Public Road System".

   Zhao Ma

Zhao Ma
 

Zhao Ma is a graduate student in Department of Civil Engineering, Jackson State University. He received his bachelor degree from Tsinghua University, China. After his 25 years living in China, he moved to Jackson, Mississippi, where he started his new career as a graduate student. He is now doing his research in traffic safety with methodology for crash data analysis. He worked for IMTrans project "Simulation Study of Emergency Evacuation of Greater Jackson due to Hazardous Material Incident". Zhao is currently working for IMTrans project" Traffic Crash Analyis and Evaluation in Mississippi".

   Divya Sinha

Divya Sinha
 

Divya Sinha, student of JSU, pursuing M.Sc in Engineering and working as a Graduate Research Assistant under Dr. Yadong Li, Principal Investigator, Associate Professor. Her current research on Exploration of Novel Multifunctional Open Graded Friction Courses for In-situ Highway Runoff Treatment. Earlier she was working at its Patna Office as a Project Engineer dealing with various Roads, Bridges and Building Projects within India which includes the Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) for road Projects of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Inception report, Query chart, 3D Modeling, Lighting and Rendering, Estimating & costing, Bill Of Quantity (BOQ) of Buildings and roads.
