Science and Engineering Fair:

      The annual Mississippi Region II Science and Engineering Fair was held in Jackson State University on the 27th and 28th of March 2008. The Elementary student fair was held on March 27th with approximately 1000 students between the 1st and 6th grades and the Junior High and High school fair was held on March 28th with approximately 600 students between the 7th and 12th grades.

  • Experiments:

    Student’s experiment with truss strength using different materials.

    A student experimenting with different bridge designs to see which one can carry the most weight.

    A student studies how a magnetron train works.

    A student experiments with wing design to enhance flight capability.
