Dr. Carolyn Howard Profiled in JSU Roars

Jackson State University profiled Dr. Carolyn Howard in its JSU Roars feature highlighting JSU advances in research and technology.  Dr. Howard, a JSU ADVANCE participant, is an associate professor of biology and recent recipient of a 2014 Presidential Creative Award for Faculty and Staff.  Dr. Howard's recent research examines the potential for Vernonia amygdalina to "reduc[e] mammary cancer stem cell MCSC-mediated initiation and progression of mammary tumors.  Read more.
