Arts Building B. DILLA BUCKNER rejoined the EMFL faculty in the fall of 1999. Previously, Buckner served as professor of English and chair at both Tougaloo College , Tougaloo , MS , and Clark College , Atlanta , GA. She has served as past co-director of Clark College ’s Writing Across the Curriculum Program and as acting director of the Curriculum and Faculty Development Component of Institute for Services to Education (ISE), Washington , D.C. Publications include “When the Subject is Fathers: Two Daughters Reflect” in Father Songs (1997), and “Spirituality, Sexuality and Creativity: A Conversation with Margaret Walker Alexander” in My Soul is a Witness (1995).Her research includes profiles of African American slave women, slave narratives, and folklore. |
