Graduate Overview

The Master’s of Science degree provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge about mass communications that enables critical thinking and research.

Students may choose several tracks for their concentration and work with their  advisors to build a program with courses inside and outside of the department that focus on their final projects or theses.

The program should include the four required core courses – MC 500, MC 501, MC 502, and MC 506  – and electives from mass communications and/or other departments. Each student must complete a thesis or project.
