Membership Qualifications

  • Membership shall be open to all members of the Jackson State University student body who have and maintain an overall 2.5 grade point average.
  • Incoming freshmen are accepted as members on a probationary period until completing one full semester, during which they must accumulate the minimum overall 2.5 grade point average. 
  • Prospective Blue Ambassadors must embody an outgoing personality and a genuine love for JSU.
  • To be considered an official member, each individual will be required to pay a membership fee.  The fee will be payable at the beginning of each semester or at one time for the academic year.
  • To be considered an official member, all individuals are required to submit a completed application and information sheet.
  • Membership shall open no later than the mid week of September.
  • To remain in good standing with the organization, members must have a minimum of 1,500 points and have acquired no less than seventy-five percent of unexcused meetings.
