"Take Our Daughters To Work Day" is a registered trademark of the MS Foundation for Women. This day is an effort to empower young girls ages nine to fifteen by exposing them to positive role models in the world of work. Also the day is designed to focus on girls' ideals, needs, and dreams – and help ensure that girls remain CONFIDENT, STRONG, and IN SCHOOL

throughout their teen years. The Coalition has been participating in this annual national event since1996. The Coalition coordinates a partnership with a middle school in the Jackson Public School District and Jackson State University (JSU) where JSU departments agree to "adopt-a-daughter for a day".
