Designed to help investigators understand the IRB application process for research involving human subjects, this workshop addresses the following topics: detailed examination of the IRB protocol application; information for mentoring students who are preparing IRB applications; creating compliant recruitment ads, consent forms and assent forms; and IRB applications that involve multiple cooperating institutions.
