About the Center

Overview

Established in 2003, the Center for University Scholars facilitates the integration of scholarship, teaching and learning among Jackson State University's faculty. Annually, the Center awards fellowships, travel grants and graduate assistantships to scores of faculty membrs and impacts the entire university community with its programs and services. The Center for University Scholars is a unit within the Office of Academic Affairs and Student Life. US Department of Education Title III grant providees the majority of the Center's funding.
