Dr. Coleman earned the Ph.D. in political science from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and has been awarded post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Maryland-College Park, Harvard Law School and the Woodrow Wilson Center. Over the last decade, she has observed elections in Eastern Europe, taught comparative poverty and law classes in Zimbabwe, researched deliberative democracy's application to poverty and citizenship in the former Soviet republics, and participated in cross-cultural discussions in Cuba, Austria and the United States. A former chair of JSU's Department of Political Science, she currently also serves as associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts and director of the Afro-Cuban Institute.

Mrs. Greathree oversees the daily operations of the Center including calendar, purchasing, budget, correspondence, travel logistics and business transactions. She also assists in the implementation of the Center's programs. Employed at Jackson State since 2000, Mrs. Greathree holds the bachelor's degree in psychology. She has attended Alcorn State University and Jackson State University. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; the Order for Eastern Star and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Miss Hudson conducts premilinary analyses of student evaluation data of teaching performance, i.e. SIRS, and designs the Center's promotional materials including this website. She also assists in the implementation of the Center's programs. Miss Hudson earned a bachelor's degree in political science at Jackson State University and a master of public policy at Pepperdine University.
