Designed to help faculty understand how to tailor research assistantship and other mentoring experiences to today's undergraduate student, this workshop addresses the following topics:  opportunities available via the Center for Undergraduate Research, differences between mentoring and advising, impact of mentoring on students' and faculty's research, the mechanics of tailoring mentoring experiences and introduction of the research process to undergraduates.

Light refreshments will be provided.
