The College of Science, Engineering and Technology (CSET) was reorganized during the 2007, 2008 academic year, as a result the CSET Office of Research, Industrial and Community Outreach was changed to the CSET office of Research and Corporate Relations and the Director position elevated to Associate Dean of Research.
The Office of Research functions to support and coordinate the major: planning; fund raising, and proposal development efforts to support departments, centers, programs and other research related efforts in the College of Science, Engineering and Technology. The office also supports the establishment and implementation of new ventures in the academic, research and service areas.
The priority of the Office of Research is to provide a supportive environment for the conduct of research and scholarly activity of faculty and for the training of graduate students
