TAP STUDENT LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIUM

What is TAP Student Leadership Symposium (SLS)?

The TAP Student Leadership Symposium (SLS) is sponsored by the US Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration and ran by the Foundation for Educational Development, Inc.

TAP SLS provides a forum for students to learn from industry-leading STEM professionals about careers in science, technology, engineering and math. TAP Student Leaders participate in college preparation sessions focused on goal setting, SAT preparation, and study skills.

The TAP Student Leadership Symposium is a three (3) day summer program held in select U.S. cities.

Students will participate in three days of programs designed to expose them to different careers in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. Speakers from top government agencies, Fortune 500 companies and University admissions offices will detail the benefits and pathways to becoming a STEM professional. In addition, students will be a apart of special sessions focused on college preparation, leadership skills and tips for leading a successful life.

Students will also participate in campus tours, admissions discussions and healthy living sessions run by camp staff and student-athletes.
