Master of Social Work students have participated in the RICE (Rural Interdisciplinary Case Experience) Bowl Competition that is sponsored by the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for the past two years. Three M.S.W. students: JaLise Haney, Howard Sanders, and Lisa Williams will compete in this year's competition. Williams said, "I am very honored to represent the university. It is a very intensive competition, but I am looking forward to it. All the disciplines are sometimes too compartmentalized in what they do, so I am excited to be able to work with all te different disciplines." The competition was held on October 23, 2016 at the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center. Please click on link for entire article http://www.jsumsnews.com/?p=26483.
