BSW Student Author of Religious Self-Help Book

jaylon-mooreJaylon Moore is a senior social work major at Jackson State University. It is anticipated that he will graduate in the spring of 2017. Jaylon is a worship leader around the state of Mississippi and background vocalist to a number of artists in Mississippi and around the country. He is also involved in numerous activities at the university: the JSU Chorale, Social Work Student Association, a charter member of Phi Alpha Delta (Pre Law Fraternity), a Dean's List Scholar, Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges, and a spring 2015 initiate of the Delta Phi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Jaylon recently wrote a book entitled, College Daze “Maintaining Faith in College”. It is a religious self-help book geared towards millennials and college students who have a strong desire to stay grounded in Christ. Moore says, “Pressing issues that many college students face such as: choosing the right friends, balancing Greek life while maintaining a relationship with God as well as finding one’s purpose are discussed in the book.”  The book can be purchased on Amazon.com and at Barnes & Noble.
