Catherine "Katy" Waller, a 2nd year MSW Student, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Social Work (NASW) Mississippi Chapter. Catherine will serve as Graduate Representative to the board for year 2018-2019. Catherine will be responsible for attending monthly board meetings; she will assist with the planning and implementation of the state conference and local trainings; and she will communicate critical information to graduate students in social work throughout the state of Mississippi.  A native of south Mississippi, Catherine received her undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Southern Mississippi.  Catherine, an active member of the student body, is married to fellow MSW student, Gary Waller. She is scheduled to complete her MSW degree in spring 2019.
