Director: Yolanda Williams
The 1964 New York riots were triggered by an incident involving a black youth and a white cop. Bill is an artist. Bill's friend Sonny-man is a writer. Sonny-man's wife, Cynthia, is a social worker. While taking refuge in a bar, Sonny-man and Cynthia meet Tommy Marie, "the perfect model” for Bill, who is working on a series of paintings about black women. Their assumptions about her fuel an evening of conflict, and resolution.
