A proud son of Canton, MS, Mark Henderson received his doctorate from the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg, MS), a Masters from Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI), and a Bachelor’s from Jackson State University (Jackson, MS). He is a tenured professor and Chair of the Department of Speech Communication and Theatre.
Dr. Henderson believes that “Any civilization that does not embrace the arts isn’t civilized.”
