Survival: The Millennium Agenda for Jackson State University’s
strategic initiatives for 2000 – 2007.
- To compile and validate all data resulting from the comprehensive
assessment as a compendium volume for University reaffirmation.

- What did and didn’t happen during the process of implementing the
consensus five broad strategic initiatives subdivided into 18 programs
and work teams with 200 action steps?
- For what worked, WHY and for what didn’t work, WHY? Strengths and
weaknesses analysis, challenges and threats met, opportunities gained
and opportunities lost.
- What are the teachable moments and how do they propel the institution
to the next strategic phase of development? Lessons learned to inform
next phase.
