The SGA Freshman Intern Program is a new initiative that will allow freshmen the opportunity to learn more about SGA and its role on campus to build future leaders.  This program will allow students to become familiar with the processes of SGA and build relationships with the current administration and other student leaders.

This program is open to freshmen students of all majors. No prior leadership experience is required.

The key elements of the Freshman Intern Program includes: leadership development, event and project planning experience, relationship building, and opportunities to identify how you could continue to improve the student experience at JSU. As an Intern, you will work closely with the committees of the Legislative Branch to gain direct insight of serving as a Student Senator. Interns are non-voting members of SGA and will attend various committee and class meetings. Interns are expected to maintain a 3.0 CGPA.
