Development Communities
Development Communities create environments that foster healthy discussion and exploration in spirituality, ethics and religious belief. We believe that as students are exposed to diverse thought patterns and beliefs, they will educate one another and better prepare one another for global leadership. This helps us to effectively “Challenge Minds and Change Lives”.
Faculty/Staff and Student Forum
Encourages capacity and character building through strong mentoring and iron sharpening iron dynamics with administrators, faculty, staff, students and alumni within the colleges and schools through open forums and Q & A sessions.
Religious/Spiritual Emphasis Week
Spiritual Emphasis Week is an Annual University-wide event centered on spiritual unity and enhancement through worship, prayer, meditation and reflection and spirit filled services.
Religious Council
The Religious Council is the University’s interfaith group promoting unity among campus religious organizations, with the common goal of enhancing and affecting the moral and ethical character of the students, faculty and staff at Jackson State University.
