Manna For the Soul

Manna for the Soul nourishes students through counseling, peer mentoring and general support.  As students engage in the exploration opportunities offered through this initiative they are increasingly turning to the Department of Faith Based programming and development for guidance in vocational discernment.

Seminary Visits
Seminary visits allow students who are called to graduate study in religion to meet with representatives from diverse theological seminaries, participate in area events related to enrolling in seminary, and visit seminaries.

Counseling and Spiritual Direction
Includes ongoing spiritual assessment, coaching and advising for students by SELI staff and JSU counseling center.

Leadership Retreats
Leadership Retreats enables leaders of the university’s recognized students religious organizations to plan for the upcoming year and to prepare for welcoming entering students and strategizing to accomplish the mission and goals of SELI.
