The Latasha Norman Center for Counseling and Disability Services is committed to working with JSU students experiencing certain adjustment challenges as they matriculate through their academic program and college experience. Our mission is to provide services and activities that can assist the JSU students as they transition and seek assistance with building their problem-solving skills, managing relationships and becoming more independent and confident. The Center collaborates with Student Health Services, Vice President and Associate Vice President/Dean of Students for the Division of Student Life, Applied Psychological Services Clinic (APSC), Social Work/SMHART Institute, Alcohol and Drug Interdisciplinary Studies, School, Community, and Rehabilitation Counseling, Campus Police, and other campus resources in efforts to meet student, faculty and staff counseling and disability needs.
