Sonic Boom of the South High School Band Camp

Join the famous Sonic Boom of the South, in a safe and nurturing environment, for an extensive look into what it takes to be a part of the “Summa Cum Laude of Bands!” Master classes by renowned Sonic Boom band staff include leadership skills, classroom management, field show content and instrumental pedagogy arrangements. Social maturation, physical fitness and networking are emphasized. Talent shows and dances enhance the experience.

Hours: 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday

Location: Jackson State University F.D. Music Hall

Fee: On-campus students, $350; commuter/local students, $300; (room and board, meals, paraphernalia and outlet activities); directors and chaperones, $200

$100 mandatory, non-refundable deposit is due on or before Feb. 1 to maintain spot. The remaining balance should be in on or before May 2. (Pay by money order or checks; no cash.)
