Does the lab provide technical assistance?

Yes, for more assistance, you may reach Mr. Bryant at (601-979-4330) or Mr. Buck at (601-979-6307). 

Are students allowed to scan documents to any email address?

  No, you can only scan a document to your JSU email address.

Are students allowed to scan documents?

 Yes, simply login to the Xerox-Follow-Me printer and select auto store, then press scan to email.

Is printing free of charge?

  No, you have to have money on your student account that is allocated for printing.   

Can students print from their iPad, or iPhone?

    Yes, select air-print from your device and select the Xerox-Follow-Me printer 

How do students log onto the computers?

 Use your J-Number for the username and Net-Id for the password.

What are some tasks that students are able to perform in the labs?

  Surf the World Wide Web, use Microsoft office suite which allows you to create word documents, presentations, flyers, view pdf documents and etc..

What are the hours of operation for the computer lab?

 The 114 downstairs lab is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  The 210 upstairs lab is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., but on Friday the lab closes at 5:00 p.m.  

Are students required to sign in to use the lab computers?

Yes, there is a sign in screen on the computer next to the printers in both labs (114 and 210).  Once you sign in on the sign in screen, then you may go use a regular computer.
