Types of Tours
1) Standard one-hour walking tour
2) Customized tour of select buildings on campus
3) Heritage tour of buildings with programs highlighting Mississippi’s civil rights movement. The tour stops include the Council of Federated Organizations (COFO Center – admission required); the Fannie Lou Hamer National Institute on Citizenship and Democracy; the Margaret Walker Center for the Study of the African-American Experience and Alexander West on the Gibbs-Green Plaza).
Parking for Visitors
The visitor lot is directly behind the JSU Student Center. To access the lot, turn off Dalton Street onto the street in front of the Department of Public Safety. The lot is located on the left.
